Another kind of hit and run

I stood at the enterprise Rent a Car center waiting for my car. It was a busy evening and the road was buzzing with cars. About 50 feet away, I saw a small boy crossing in the middle of the road. Vehicles came to a screeching halt as he weaved his way through them playfully. He had almost crossed over when one car came at a high speed and hit him. I had a good day today

I spent my day deep cleaning my kitchen. Pulled everything off the counters and scrub, scrub, scrub. I threw out a bunch of stuff from the closet in our utility room so that I could move other stuff in there and have more space! Tomorrow is the last of our Home Study visits. We get to meet "F"!

My husband and I have also become certified to be Mentors to aging-out youths. Today we meet our Mentee! It's so ridiculous.. I am excited and nervous and at the same time don't know what to wear. !!
